“If you accept the expectations of others, especially negative ones, then you never will change the outcome.”…Michael Jordan Being negative is really easy. That is why there are so many negative people out there! Unfortunately, there is no way to live life without encountering those with different perspectives of the world, so we have to equip ourselves to deal with folks with a bad attitude. BOSS vs LEADER

After 27 years in law enforcement, I have seen my share of bosses and leaders. Are they the same? Absolutely not! I have seen many bosses believe that their title made them a leader. WRONG! Do more people follow informal leaders in an organization versus the actual leader by title if they are toxic? YES! I have studied leadership for over 10 years and I’m convinced that leadership can be learned and you are not just “born” with leadership skills. You may have a God-given talent that allows you to possess certain leadership qualities and abilities but that does not translate into a leader by definition. So, do you work for a boss or a leader? If you are in a leadership position, which one are you? Ok, c’mon, be honest since growth must start from within and you can’t expect to change your followers if you are not willing  »

YOUR THOUGHTS IMPACT YOUR LIFE

YOUR THOUGHTS IMPACT YOUR LIFE All areas and facets of your mind have to be programmed by you so unless your THOUGHTS are positive and right your mind will begin to deposit a negative mindset in every area of your brain. Not only will you be affected but everyone and everything around you. Many THOUGHTS will penetrate your mind but only you are responsible for choosing what kind of thoughts you are going to allow how they impact your life on a daily basis. The conscious mind can only think about one thing at time and so what you think permeates your subconscious mind and it is then that your subconscious begins to create your world in accordance with the ideas that you have allowed to enter your brain. If you think positive and enjoyable thoughts then you are triggered to feel and react in a way positive and happy.  »

SUPERAR EL MIEDO

May 21, 2016

OVERCOMING YOUR FEAR

May 21, 2016

OVERCOMING YOUR FEAR Fear is a natural reaction to danger; but due to the high imaginative power of human beings fear becomes anxiety, making us see dangers that exist only in our minds. At the same time, that imaginative power does not provide means to get rid of certain physical hazards that are actually present in the world in which we live. In fact, fear is a mental and physical reaction that helps us to protect ourselves against certain threats, but when there are no threats or we don’t see a way to escape, fear comes to paralyze us and controls our daily lives. It is the imaginative power which allows us to see situations from a perspective more broadly. We see more beyond the immediate situation, toward something that might seem threatening, which allows us to analyze it and see it with greater lenses and thus a better understanding.  »

HOW DO WE ACHIEVE INTERNAL GREATNESS?

HOW DO WE ACHIEVE INTERNAL GREATNESS? Are reading journals, blogs, books, etc. for personal motivation for those people who want to succeed in something but do not know how? They say that they have tried to follow various methods, programs, and paths without achieving anything when in fact ACHIEVEMENT happens fairly easy. How? When asked, Sir Isaac Newton said that he discovered the law of gravity simply by “thinking about it all the time”. That’s exactly how ACHIEVEMENT begins. The power of ACHIEVEMENT starts with your mindset.  How you think about something, positive or negative, will have a huge effect on the outcome. Why do think some people achieve greatness (and this greatness I’m talking about could be being a great parent, a good spouse, or a good employee – don’t make the mistake of connecting greatness with money or the car someone drives – those are false pretenses)  and  »

Cuanto más haga esto, más conscientes y presentar a convertirse, lo que crea una mayor armonía en su vida. WHY ARE WE HERE?

WHY ARE WE HERE? Does your purpose have something to do with what you do? Sorta, kinda, there, I said it. Your purpose is actually quite simple, it’s to awaken you. To discover and nurture who you truly are, to know and love yourself at the deepest level and to guide yourself back home when you lose your way. The more you do this, the more aware and present you become, which creates more harmony in your life. Everything else is your burning passion, your inspired mission, your job, your love-fueled hobby, etc. Those things are powerful and very worthy, but they’re not your purpose. Your purpose is much, much bigger than that. My deeper understanding of purpose feels right in the soul of my bones. It diffuses the ache of separateness I experience when my work isn’t appreciated or when my efforts are overlooked or criticized. You see, sometimes  »

LIVING ON PURPOSE

In an era where it seems like many companies have become heartless sweatshops grabbing for every nickel they can get and squeezing their employees for more and more with lesser resources, having a larger PURPOSE still matters. People no longer value mission and vision statements. Too often, they become punch lines or useless billboards that hang over public areas that no one reads.   Having a PURPOSE in life is different. A PURPOSE is a concrete reason to get out of bed in the morning. It’s how you choose to make a difference in your life. A clearly articulated PURPOSE restores the WHY in your life.   Here’s why your PURPOSE matters:   PURPOSE is why you exist and organizations exist.   PURPOSE drives relationships, outcomes, and sales. You don’t have to create global harmony to live with PURPOSE. Your PURPOSE can be reading to a child, volunteering at a  »

HOW DO WE ALIGN VISION AND PRIORITIES?

We usually take our workplaces for granted, don’t we? But skyscrapers are colossal achievements. Architects must design them with variables like winds, earthquakes, communication, traffic, and the surrounding environment in mind. It’s impossible to imagine building one without architectural plans. But here’s the thing: The lives of everyone working inside those towers are infinitely more complex. Our daily existence requires coordinating a million variables: just think of all the personal and professional obligations and aspirations we constantly juggle. Yet most of us do so without a plan. WHERE ARE YOU GOING? Instead, we cobble bricks together, hoping nothing will jostle them down. But it’s a constant struggle, and we usually have few long-term goals for our activity. Research indicates we gain significant satisfaction from making progress toward meaningful goals, so the more we grind without an endgame, the more our quality of life suffers. And that’s not the least of  »

What is a Leader?

April 29, 2016

A leader can be defined as a person who has the ability to influence and carry along a group of people towards achieving a purpose or a goal. Using three Ps, servant and leadership can be simply defined as person, people and purpose. This question is often asked, is leadership an authority or a position of office or authority? Or, is leadership an ability in the sense that he is a leader because he leads? We all are aware of people who are holding the place of leadership but are not providing leadership at all. Any office position don’t guarantee leadership but the position helps in commanding a listening ear from its people, and this is  good starting point for someone that intends to be a leader. That is, he or she should have listening ear. By definition, a leader is someone who is in the front, he is first  »

INTRODUCTION Self exploration and actualization are the keys to a successful life. One of the things I consider “the greatest sin” is wishing to be who you are not. In that moment of solitude you keep wishing to be that man who had in the past achieved a lot. Yes it is good to learn from successful men but don’t keep wishing you are in their shoes because it is a way of limiting the ‘you in you’. Believe in yourself and be positive that you will achieve a lot more than Mr. A .You must not tow the same road in life with another man to get to the same destination. Making Mr. A your role model is not a bad idea but trying to be him and copy everything about him is the pathetic and self limiting part which can abruptly throw your real personality in limbo and  »

It reveals how you can discover yourself and modify who you are into the best you can be and realizing your full potentials and purposes of life. Human being is an emotional being, governed by psychology and shaped by the things around. The innate being is what destroys a man and not what is outwards. Sometimes life experiences seem to reshape the real nature we were born with and lead to destructive personalities. Perception is a powerful tool which goes a long way determining our reactions to life situations and the way we handle them. Knowing what makes up the human behaviour is the first step to knowing how to handle it. Self discovery is a conscious exercise into the unconscious to discover  »

The first thing to be done is to search intently within for the gift that God has deposited in you.
